Unit 2: Mangia! Mangia!

Proportional reasoning through the creation of recipes.
Visit the "Mathematics Year 1" tab to see students Piktocharts of their altered recipes. 

Unit 1: "Wrap it up, I'll take it!"

Students designing and creating 3 dimensional puzzles that will help educate a child while they play. Using recycled materials, cardboard, to present the units learning process.
Learning objectives: using the design process, division and multiplication of decimals, using tables to create equations, understanding units of measurement, ratios, and unit rates.
